Wasim Saifi - Board Member and Group CEO

Wasim Saifi is the Board Member and Group CEO of Tamweel PJSC, the largest provider of real estate finance in the region. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Saifi was a member of Tamweel’s Board of Directors and Chairman of its Audit and Risk Management Committee since 2005. Saifi previously served as Executive Vice President and Head of Retail and Business Banking at Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB).

Saifi has over 20 years of international experience in the banking and financial industry covering areas which include corporate finance, retail banking and strategic planning across the Middle East & South Asia. He has held several senior positions in leading financial institutions such as Mashreq Bank, American Express and Standard Chartered Bank.

He holds an MBA from Rutgers University, U.S.A.
